Dr. Mike Garrett, Senior Pastor of Meridian Baptist Church, suffered depression and rejection while leading his church through a major community outreach project. While knowing it was the right decision, it was fraught with challenges and for the first few years, little fruit. But with God’s help and intervention and the support of a core team, Dr. Garrett has been able to move ahead in following God’s call. The peace of knowing he was following God, no matter the cost, has been worth the hardship and struggle.
